  22. 1. Assembler: An assembler translates the symbolic codes of programs of an assembly language into machine language instructions. The symbolic language is translated to the machine code in the ratio of one is to one symbolic instructions to one machine code instructions. Such types of languages are called low-level languages. The assembler programs translate the low-level Language to the machine code. The translation job is performed either manually or with a program called assembler. The programmer uses the set of instructions supplied by the manufacturer. In this case, the hexadecimal code for the mnemonic instruction is searched from the code sheet. This procedure is tedious and time- consuming. Alternate solution to this is the use of assemblers. The program called assembler provides the codes of the mnemonics.

  23. An assembly language is a low-level programming language for a computer, or other programmable device, in which there is a very strong (generally one-to-one) correspondence between the language and the architecture's machine code instructions. Each assembly language is specific to a particular computer architecture, in contrast to most high-level programming languages, which are generally portable across multiple architectures, but require interpreting or compiling.

Assembly language is converted into executable machine code by a utility program referred to as an assembler; the conversion process is referred to as assembly, or assembling the code.

Assembly language uses a mnemonic to represent each low-level machine instruction or operation. Typical operations require one or more operands in order to form a complete instruction, and most assemblers can therefore take labels, symbols and expressions as operands to represent addresses and other constants, freeing the programmer from tedious manual calculations. Macro assemblers include a macroinstruction facility so that (parameterized) assembly language text can be represented by a name, and that name can be used to insert the expanded text into other code. Many assemblers offer additional mechanisms to facilitate program development, to control the assembly process, and to aid debugging

  53. Assembler is a program that is use to write a Low Level Language
it is still use because its fast in execution.

  54. An assembler is a program that takes basic computer instructions and converts them into a pattern of bits that the computer's processor can use to perform its basic operations.
It is still relevant because it allow the student to know about the low Level Language.

  55. Assembler is a program for converting instructions written in low level symbolic code into machine code.
the important of assembler to student:it enables the student to learn the program easily and have the knowledge of conversion of numbers examples binary, octal, hexadecimal e.t.c
    2. different types of assembler we have are :
FASM, NASM, JAWASM, POSAM, MASM,COBOL,GOASM, YASM, DEBUGGER,BOLAN,TASM, ASSEMBLER.

  57. 1 An assembler is a program which creates object code by translating combinations of mnemonics and syntax for operations and addressing modes into their numerical equivalents. This representation typically includes an operation code ("opcode") as well as other control bits. The assembler also calculates constant expressions and resolves symbolic names for memory locations and other entities. The use of symbolic references is a key feature of assemblers, saving tedious calculations and manual address updates after program modifications. Most assemblers also include macro facilities for performing textual substitution—e.g., to generate common short sequences of instructions as inline, instead of called subroutines
Assembler is still relevant cause it is fast in executing...........

  58. .An Assembler is a program that takes basic computer instructions & converts them into a patternof bits that the computer's processor can use to perform its basic operations. 2.Assembly language use a mnemonic to represent each low-level machine instruction or operation. Typical operation require one or more operands in order to form a complete instruction & most assemblers can therefore take labels, symbols & expression as operands to represent address & other constants feeling the programmer from tedious manual calculation.
